MALE INFERTILITY

Male Infertility is the inability to impregnate the partner due to problems in the semen ejaculated such as low sperm count (oligospermia), maturation arrest, low sperm motility and morphology, azoospermia or zero sperm count etc. Infertility in males can occur due to a number of reasons such as improper sleep, substance abuse such as smoking , anxiety or stress related to work life or personal life. Injury to the testis can cause maturation arrest in which the testis is unable to produce the sperms and this can make the man infertile.

Male Infertility

  • Oligospermia:

A low enough quantity of sperm is one of the most common causes of male infertility.

  • Low Motility of Sperm:

If sperm do not swim well enough to reach the egg, they will be less likely to fertilize it.

  • Irregular shape of sperm:

If sperm are abnormally shaped, they may have issues penetrating the egg which can reduce fertilization.

  • Hormonal issues:

Reduced testosterone, or other hormonal issues can impact sperm quality and production.

FEMALE INFERTILITY

Infertility in females are caused by irregularities in menstrual cycle, PCOS ( Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome ), problems in ovulation blocked fallopian tube , poor lifestyle which causes obesity and emotional health. Lack of exercise and sedentary lifestyle can also contribute to Infertility in women.
  • Ovulation Disorders:

Conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or hormonal problems may cause eggs not to be released regularly.

  • Fallopian tube obstruction:

Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes (often caused by infections previously endured, for example, chlamydia, endometriosis and other difficulties) can keep sperm from arriving at the egg — or influenced egg implantation.

  • Endometriosis:

This condition, where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, can impair the functioning of the ovaries, uterus, and fallopian tubes.

  • Uterine Abnormalities:

Issues like fibroids or a misshapen uterus can interfere with implantation and pregnancy maintenance.
